Successful. Capable. Still feeling lonely, misunderstood, or undervalued.

Private hypnosis to help strong, intelligent women thrive in a predominantly male world.

You’ve built a life that takes strength and judgment. Yet you may still find yourself proving your worth, managing someone else’s displeasure, or holding everything together with little room for what you actually feel.

Here, you have a private, confidential space to be yourself and work with the old emotional patterns that make you doubt, overexplain, accommodate, or hold back, even when you know exactly what you want.

Who gets to see how you actually feel?

At work, you need to look composed. In business, you need to inspire confidence. Other people may rely on you to make decisions, solve problems, and keep things moving.

You can do all of that and still feel hurt by a dismissive comment, anxious before a confrontation, or exhausted by the effort of being taken seriously. Sometimes admitting those feelings seems harder than carrying them.

People may admire your strength without knowing much about your experience. You may have plenty of people around you and very few with whom you can stop performing.

Here, you can say what you usually leave out. Anger, doubt, sadness, resentment, and contradictory feelings all have room in the conversation. You can bring the part of your life that doesn’t fit the version everyone knows.

Your beliefs have changed. Some reactions haven’t.

You know you have options, experience, and the right to make your own decisions. Yet in certain situations, an older response takes over before you can use that knowledge.

You may recognize some of these patterns.

“I know I can walk away. Why am I still justifying myself?”

You can end the conversation, decline the offer, leave the job, or stop working with someone. But when a particular man challenges your decision, you begin explaining it as though he has to approve before you can act.

“I have every right to say no. So why do I feel guilty?”

You refuse an unreasonable request, protect your time, or state your terms. Afterwards, you replay the conversation, worry that you were difficult, and feel tempted to offer something back to make him happy.

“I see the warning signs. Why am I still drawn in?”

You notice pressure, dismissiveness, or inconsistency. Yet his confidence, status, charm, or attention makes you doubt your judgment. In a relationship, attraction may pull you back. In business, it may be the promise of an opportunity or the wish to win his respect.

“I decided I wouldn’t tolerate this again. Then I went quiet.”

You planned to speak directly. In the moment, you freeze, agree, laugh something off, or start calming the other person. You find yourself keeping the peace before you have time to choose whether that is what you want.

“I left. Why am I still arguing with him in my head?”

The relationship, job, or business arrangement is over. You are still rehearsing conversations, defending your choices, or imagining what you should have said. Someone who is no longer part of your life still occupies hours of your attention.

“I’m confident everywhere else. Why does his disapproval affect me so much?”

You have accomplishments, experience, and people who trust your judgment. Yet criticism, rejection, or male displeasure can suddenly make you feel small, ashamed, or desperate to prove yourself.

You may have outgrown the situation in which a reaction developed and still find yourself responding by its old rules.

Why hypnosis?

Understanding a pattern can change how you see yourself and what you choose. It does not always change what you feel when a familiar look, voice, or silence sets off the old response.

Talk therapy can help you make sense of your experience. With hypnosis, we can go deeper into the experience itself: the guilt, fear, tension, images, and expectations that arise before you have time to think.

We explore what triggers the reaction, what it seems to be protecting you from, and what keeps it in place. Sometimes an old rule still seems to be running: keep him happy, don’t challenge authority, don’t disappoint anyone, don’t make yourself a target.

The aim is to work with what generates the response, so that change becomes something you can feel in an actual conversation, negotiation, or decision.

You remain aware and involved. You can ask questions, stop an exercise, and choose how much of your story to share. We begin with a situation you want to handle differently.

What would you like to feel or do differently?

  • State your price, position, or decision without immediately weakening it.
  • Say no and return to your day without hours of guilt.
  • Stay present when someone challenges you and choose how to respond.
  • Recognize a warning sign and follow your judgment.
  • Hear criticism without losing your sense of competence.
  • Show uncertainty or ask for support without feeling that you have failed.
  • Leave a conversation without continuing it in your head all evening.

We work toward greater freedom in how you respond, including the freedom to be firm, vulnerable, warm, angry, or undecided when that fits the situation.

Your judgment remains central. We look for changes in the conversations and choices that matter to you.

How we work

We focus on a reaction or recurring pattern that interferes with your work, business, relationships, or everyday decisions.

Find the recurring response

We identify the situations that set it off, what happens inside you, and what you want to feel or do differently. We also look at where the same response appears elsewhere in your life.

Work with what keeps it in place

We use hypnosis to explore the emotional response and work with the feelings, expectations, and inner conflict connected to it. The focus and pace are shaped around your experience.

Bring it into everyday life

We return to real situations: a difficult meeting, a negotiation, criticism, dating, or saying no. We review what has changed and what still needs attention, adjusting the work as we go.

On the free discovery call, we discuss your situation and agree on a useful starting point.

Work with Sebastian Kristof

I bring medical training, a background in mental health and research at Yale and UC San Diego, and experience in software engineering and organizational life to my private practice, alongside advanced hypnotherapy training.

I am interested in the gap between what a person understands and what happens under pressure. You may have excellent judgment and still find it difficult to use when a particular reaction takes over.

I offer a private, confidential setting where you can speak openly and decide what you want to share. You do not have to protect me from your feelings. I can stay with you through tears, anger, embarrassment, or uncertainty without asking you to compose yourself for my comfort.

I listen carefully and give you an honest response. I take your intelligence, experience, and ambitions seriously, along with the feelings you may find inconvenient or difficult to explain.

About my background and approach

A few questions

Why work with a man?

For some women, it helps to hear a man’s honest perspective in a conversation where their experience, competence, and choices are respected.

I can offer that perspective without expecting you to agree with me. If I see something differently, we can examine it openly. I speak for myself and bring my own experience; I don’t claim to explain every man.

There can also be value in experiencing disagreement, vulnerability, or strong emotion with a man who remains attentive and respectful. Whether that feels useful to you is something we can explore on the discovery call.

Is this mainly about romantic relationships?

The same reaction can appear with a partner, boss, client, investor, colleague, or family member. We focus on where it interferes with your life now. You do not need a relationship problem to come.

What if the situation really is unfair?

We take the situation seriously. Feeling calmer does not require you to accept disrespect, lower your standards, or remain in an arrangement that harms you.

The work can help you respond with greater clarity and choice, whether that means speaking up, negotiating, seeking support, or leaving.

Does this mean I should stop explaining myself altogether?

An explanation can be useful and professional. The question is whether you choose to give one, or feel compelled to keep explaining until the other person approves.

Do I need to know where the pattern came from?

No. We can begin with a recent situation and what happened inside you. Our understanding may become clearer during the work.

What if I become emotional during a session?

You can cry, feel angry, go quiet, or struggle to find words. We can work with what is happening and adjust the pace together. You don’t have to tidy up your feelings before bringing them here.

Where do your reactions get in the way of what you already know?

Tell me about one situation. On a free 20-minute call, we can discuss what you want to feel or do differently and whether this work fits.

You can also come with something you rarely get to say aloud. We can find a starting point together.
