Parents & Adult Children
You have a life of your own. One conversation can still make you feel twelve.
Guilt after saying no. Anger that outlasts the call. A longing for closeness that keeps turning into the same argument. Individual hypnosis for the feelings and reactions that make this relationship hard to choose freely.

The conversation ends. The feelings stay.
Their name appears on your phone, and you tense up before answering.
You say no, then spend the rest of the day wondering whether you are a bad son or daughter.
You go into a visit determined to stay calm. A familiar remark brings the old reaction back.
You have created distance, but still rehearse conversations with them in your head.
Your adult child has pulled away. You want to reach out, but every message feels loaded.
You want to hear what your child is saying. Hurt and the need to explain yourself get there first.
You can love someone, feel grateful to them, and find the relationship painful. You can want contact and dread it. The difficulty is often knowing what you want when guilt, anger, loyalty, and hope all seem to speak at once.
What relationship do you actually want?
That question can get lost behind what a good child or a good parent is supposed to do. You may have spent years explaining, accommodating, defending yourself, or waiting for a conversation that finally makes everything clear.
We make room for your own answer. Perhaps you want warmer contact, fewer arguments, a boundary you can hold, or enough distance to think. Perhaps you are grieving a kind of closeness that has never been possible. You do not have to settle all of that before we begin.
Changing how often you speak and changing how the relationship feels inside you are separate tasks. Distance can be necessary and still leave you preoccupied. Regular contact can become a choice you make more freely. We work with the reactions that keep pulling you back into a role you no longer want.
What would change if you could respond as the adult you are now?
Work on your side of the relationship
We start with a moment that captures the difficulty: a call, a request, a silence, something you keep replaying. Through hypnosis, we explore the feelings, bodily reactions, and expectations that take over. The aim is more room to decide what to say, what to offer, and where to stop. You can come on your own; the other person does not need to take part.

Working with me
Sebastian Kristof
I am interested in what happens between knowing you have a choice and actually feeling free to make it. I will not decide whether you should reconcile, forgive, or step away. We work toward a relationship with this part of your life that you can live with.

More about me →You might be wondering
Will you tell me to cut contact or forgive them?
No. We explore what you want, what the relationship is actually like, and what is possible now. Closeness, limits, or distance can each be a considered choice. You can also change your mind.
Can I come as the parent?
Yes. We can work with the hurt, guilt, fear of losing contact, or urge to defend yourself that makes it difficult to hear your adult child. The aim may be to reach out without pressure, respect a limit, or live with uncertainty while leaving room for connection.
What if the other person never changes?
The work can still be about how you respond and what you choose. Their response remains theirs. You may want to stop repeating an argument, say what matters more clearly, or spend less of your life waiting for their approval.
You can start with the conversation you keep replaying.
