You keep thinking about changing your life.
The problem is, you don’t know whether to trust the feeling.
Your life may still look fine from the outside.
You may still be good at your work.
Your relationship may not be terrible.
You may have money, friends, plans, responsibilities, people who depend on you.
Nothing is obviously falling apart.
And yet the same thought keeps returning:
I don’t want another ten years of this.
Maybe you want to leave the career you spent twenty years building.
Maybe you keep imagining another city, another country, another relationship, another kind of life.
Maybe you finally achieved something you wanted for years – and were surprised by how little you felt.
Maybe nothing is dramatically wrong.
That’s what makes it so difficult to know what to change.

Signal or escape?
This is often the real question.
Have you genuinely outgrown this life?
Or are you exhausted?
Are you finally listening to something important?
Or trying to escape something that will follow you wherever you go?
Is the relationship finished?
Or has something in you stopped responding?
Do you need a different career?
Or did the old reasons for succeeding stop working?
Should you make the change?
Or are you about to destroy something valuable in an attempt to solve the wrong problem?
There are times when changing your life is exactly the right thing to do.
There are also times when the urge to change everything is carrying a message that has been misunderstood.
The difficulty is telling the difference.
You may already have thought about this to death.
You have probably analyzed it.
You may have made lists.
Talked to friends.
Read the books.
Gone to therapy.
Tried coaching.
Taken vacations.
Changed jobs.
Started exercising.
Downloaded another meditation app.
You may understand yourself quite well.
And still find yourself in exactly the same internal argument.
One part of you says:
Leave.
Another says:
Don’t be ridiculous. You have a good life.
One part wants freedom.
Another feels guilt.
One part wants something new.
Another is terrified that you will regret it.
Thinking harder does not necessarily resolve a conflict that is not happening entirely at the level of thought.
Hypnosis gives us another way in.
Why hypnosis?
I don’t use hypnosis to tell you what your “true purpose” is.
And I am not going to ask your subconscious to make your decisions for you.
The purpose is more practical.
We can use hypnosis to explore the emotional reactions, automatic patterns, old conclusions, fears, loyalties and internal conflicts that may be influencing your choices beneath the level of ordinary analysis.
You may already know intellectually:
I don’t need to prove myself anymore.
I have enough money.
I’m allowed to disappoint people.
My parents are no longer running my life.
I don’t actually want what I used to want.
But knowing something and feeling it are not the same thing.
Sometimes the part of you that built your life is still following rules that the rest of you outgrew years ago.
That is the territory we investigate.
Before you change your life, find out what you’re actually trying to change.
You may come because you are considering:
- leaving a career
- selling a business
- ending or radically changing a relationship
- moving to another city or country
- starting again professionally
- retiring earlier than expected
- changing how you spend your time
- walking away from a role or identity that used to define you
Or perhaps there is no single decision yet.
You simply notice that very little feels alive anymore.
You function.
You perform.
You get things done.
But somewhere along the way, your life began to feel more like something you maintain than something you actually inhabit.
That is enough to begin.
The Crossroads Intensive
A private 2.5–3 hour session combining conversation, analysis and hypnosis.
This is for one important question you have been unable to settle.
For example:
Am I finished with this career, or just exhausted?
Do I really want to leave this relationship?
Why does the life I worked so hard to build feel strangely dead?
Why am I suddenly obsessed with starting over?
Why can’t I enjoy what I already have?
What exactly am I hoping a major change will give me?
We begin by understanding the situation in ordinary language.
Then, when appropriate, we use hypnosis to explore the parts of the problem that have not responded to ordinary thinking.
The goal is not to manufacture an answer in one afternoon.
The goal is to understand what is actually underneath the question.
Sometimes that is enough.
Sometimes it becomes clear that the problem deserves deeper work.
What may happen in the session
Every case is different.
We may explore:
- what you are actually hungry for
- what the imagined new life represents emotionally
- what you are trying to escape
- what you are afraid to admit you want
- what you fear losing
- old internal rules that still organize your decisions
- loyalty, guilt, obligation or the need for approval
- the difference between boredom, burnout and genuine completion
- why certain futures feel magnetic
- why others feel impossible
- what remains when the obvious explanations are stripped away
Sometimes the surprising discovery is:
Yes. Something really does need to change.
Sometimes it is:
It looks like I'm trying to run away from something in me - not the external circumstances.
Both are useful.
If the issue is deeper
For some people, one intensive is enough to clarify the central question.
For others, the problem is not one decision.
It is a larger transition.
In that case, I also offer a private 12-week hypnotic coaching engagement.
Recalibration
A three-month process for people whose lives still work on paper, but for whom continuing unchanged no longer feels acceptable.
The work combines:
- hypnosis
- deeper emotional and experiential work
- strategic analysis
- real-world experiments
- decision work
- practical implementation
We may examine a major life decision, but we do not automatically assume that the answer is to blow up your current life.
Where possible, we test important hypotheses before making irreversible changes.
Hypnosis → hypothesis → experiment → feedback → deeper work.
The aim is not to emerge with a slogan about your purpose.
The aim is to understand what has changed, reduce the internal conflict around it, and begin moving in a direction you can actually trust.
This work is probably a good fit if
You have built something in your life and achieved ambitious goals.
You are willing to challenge your own assumptions.
You are sick of people just giving you advice.
You are not looking for someone to simply reassure you that every feeling is correct.
You need a confidential space to run your thoughts by another intelligent person, without playing a role.
And if we discover that something needs to change, you are willing to consider changing it in reality.
You do not need to arrive knowing what you want.
That is often exactly the problem.
This work is probably not a good fit if
You want someone else to make the decision for you.
You just want to make the unpleasant feeling go away, without investigating it.
You mainly need ongoing emotional support or crisis care.
Or you want hypnosis to magically produce certainty about a complicated life decision.
That is not what I do.
My role
I am not here to convince you to take option A or option B.
I am not invested in preserving the life you already have, and I am not invested in helping you reinvent yourself.
My job is to help you understand the conflict clearly enough that you can stop going in circles.
Sometimes that means working with an automatic emotional reaction that no longer makes sense.
Sometimes it means testing whether a fantasy survives contact with reality.
Sometimes it means admitting that a chapter really is over.
And sometimes it means discovering that the thing you were preparing to abandon was never the real problem.
The question is not:
“Should I change my life?”
The better question is:
What exactly is asking for change?
And can you trust it?
That is where we start.
